Operator: CODYSDETAILING LLC
1. Introduction
Welcome to Cody's Quality Detailing. By booking an appointment or using our website (codysdetailing.com), you ("the Client") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all users of the site and clients receiving mobile detailing services in the Oak Harbor, Washington area and surrounding communities.
2. Service Appointments & Booking
- Scheduling: Appointments are subject to availability. We reserve the right to reschedule due to inclement weather (rain, excessive wind, or freezing temperatures) or equipment failure.
- Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee of $30.00.
- No-Shows: If we arrive at the scheduled location and cannot access the vehicle or reach you within 15 minutes, it will be considered a "No-Show," and the full service fee (or a cancellation fee of $30.00) may be charged.
3. Mobile Service Requirements
- Access: The Client must ensure the vehicle is parked in a safe, legal, and accessible location (e.g., driveway or permitted parking lot). We cannot service vehicles parked on busy public streets where safety is compromised.
- Utilities: Since we are a mobile service, we may require access to a water spigot and/or an electrical outlet. If your location does not have these, please notify us in advance.
- Vehicle Condition: Please remove all personal items, valuables, and large debris (trash, car seats) from the vehicle prior to our arrival. CODYSDETAILING LLC is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items left inside the vehicle.
4. Pricing and Payment
- Estimates: Quotes given over the phone or online are estimates based on a standard vehicle condition. We reserve the right to adjust the price upon visual inspection if the vehicle has excessive dirt, pet hair, mold, vomit, or biohazards.
- Payment: Payment is due in full upon completion of the service. We accept Cash, Credit Cards, and digital payments.
- Late Payments: Unpaid balances after 30 days may be subject to a late fee.
5. Liability and Damage
- Pre-Existing Damage: CODYSDETAILING LLC is not liable for pre-existing damage, such as loose trim, scratched rims, chipped paint, or non-functional window motors. We may take photos of the vehicle before starting to document its condition.
- Service Risk: While we use professional-grade products and techniques, CODYSDETAILING LLC is not responsible for damage resulting from heavily oxidized paint, loose decals, or aftermarket tints that were previously compromised.
- Engine Bays: If you request an engine bay detail, you agree that CODYSDETAILING LLC is not liable for any mechanical or electrical malfunctions that occur post-cleaning, as these areas are sensitive.
6. Satisfaction Guarantee
If there is a probable and clear error in our service, you must notify us within 24 hours of completion. We will make arrangements to rectify the issue at no extra cost. Refunds are not offered once the service is completed and approved by the Client.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes related to these terms will be handled in the courts residing in or nearest to Oak Harbor, WA.
